Badi Panthulu
Badi Panthulu (English title: School Teacher; Telugu: బడిపంతులు) is a 1972 Telugu Drama film directed by P. Chandrasekhara Reddy and starring N. T. Rama Rao (NTR) and Anjali Devi. This is the first film of popular Indian actress Sridevi, who played the role of NTR's granddaughter. Sridevi would later go on to star as the lead heroine alongside NTR in his later films.〔http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250237/〕 This movie is a remake of 1958 hit Kannada movie School Master.
==Plot==
Raghava Rao (N. T. Rama Rao) is a teacher in a government primary school. His wife is Janaki (Anjali Devi). Papa Rao (Nagabhushanam) is the school proprietor. The teacher lives with commitment to basic values of life. He has two sons Satyam (Rama Krishna) and Venu (Krishnam Raju) and a daughter (T. Padmini). The school children built a house for their teacher with love and affection. After retirement, the parents had to live with their parents. The children sells the house against their wishes. They separate their father and mother and takes care of them by rotation. They wanted to live together. Ramu (Jaggayya) is his student and becomes a police officer. He purchased their house in auction and gifts it to his beloved teacher.
